She was a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Climate CoLab Fellow in the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence, MIT Sloan School of Management, for a number of years.

Environmentalist and a Climate Change Consultant excellent in organising events, programming and experience in managing climate change programmes. She was the former Global Focal Point to the Official Children and Youth Constituency of the United Nations Framework for Climate Change. Her family is a victim of Cyclone Idai, more about this can be read on page 208 Global Center on Adaptation

A dedicated farmer In the city of Bamenda Cameroon, faced the devastating consequences of climate change when a flood destroyed his crops and farm infrastructure. Undeterred, he rallied his community and utilized his knowledge of the land to rebuild and implement climate-smart farming practices.

In 2019 Tombo and John obey communities were left speechless as the uncontrollable water made way for itself through his home.

Victor Bangura

A 19 years old resident at Tombo Community who was a victim of flood in rural Tombo and John Obey communities in Sierra Leon on Tuesday 6th August 2019. He witnessed a massive swept of crops, lives and properties including free educational belongings and these led to his physical and mental health instability. He is currently ongoing emotional impacts and substantial increased in emotional stress and physical illness from water borne diseases.
